Black and white film has a look and feel all of it’s own and Super 8 filmmakers don’t have to miss out on the atmosphere that the greyscale can bring. Kodak Plus-X 7265 – B&W Reversal – 100ASA (daylight) 80ASA (tungsten) Plus-X is a medium-speed black and white panchromatic film suitable for general exterior photography. It has a high degree of sharpness, good contrast, and tonal gradation. It can be used for interior photography with ample artificial illumination. In daylight, Plus-X has an ASA of 100 and in tungsten light 80. Requires specialist processing, not included in the price.

Kodak Tri-X 7266 – B&W Reversal – 200ASA (daylight) 160ASA (tungsten) Tri-X is higher speed black and white panchromatic film which is suitable for general interior photography with artificial light. It can be used in daylight and is particularly useful for sports pictures taken at regular speed or slow motion in weak light (overcast sky or late in the day). Tri-X is characterized by excellent tonal gradation and sharpness. In daylight it has an ASA of 200 and 160 under tungsten. Requires specialist processing, not included in the price.

Kahl Dokument 12 – B&W Reversal – 12ASA High contrast black and white film particularly suitably for TV documentations, advertisement and art films. It is recommended that test images are taken prior to use. Kahl Film costs are inclusive of developing which is valid for 1 year from purchase date.

Kahl 27 – B&W High Speed Negative – 400ASA A highly sensitive negative film for use in unfavorable lighting conditions. Pro8mm Super 8/63 B&W Reversal – 10ASA Remanufactured from Kodak High Contrast 5363, provides unique black and white velvety look with high contrast. Includes specialist processing by Pro8mm in the price.

Witter B & W 54 – B&W Negative – 100 / 125ASA This film is a fine grained, panchromatic black and white stock that can be developed as both negative and reversal. Based on the ORWO UN54 negative film stock.

Quarz Chrome – B&W Reversal – 50ASA A number of specialists sell this unusual Russian 50ASA Black & White reversal film, which is now out of production and well out of date, but still good to use. Characterised by a coarse grain structure the film has developed its own cult following because of its unique look and feel, reminiscent of 1920’s and 30’s historical footage. Requires specialist processing, not included in the film cost. Very limited availability.
